Detailed Wireframes
I created these detailed wireframes for a web application that is still in development. This particular set of wireframes is one of several iterations of the site. You can see the general page structure, the account screens, the friends lists, and a few of the modal boxes. These detailed wireframes contain several of the interactive elements of the design and are specific about how content is laid out. Higher level wireframes were done on a whiteboard.

FLRB Digital Signage
First Lutheran Church of Richmond Beach wanted a way to communicated better with their members. We created a digital signage solution using their existing WordPress site. First we installed TVs in their lobby, then we built a solution that pulls data from their Google calendar, gets news from WordPress posts, display the time and the weather. The best part of this implementation is that the same images are used for the digital signage as their home page. This saves a ton of work.

Calvary Lutheran
Calvary Lutheran desperately needed a web site update. Before we got involved, they were still running the same site they’d had since the 1990’s. We created a brand new look for them and trained all their staff on how to use WordPress to manage the new site. They’ve already attributed the site to several new members!

University Place Volunteer Center
University Place Volunteer Center asked us to put a new face on their web site. The existing database was overly complex for what they needed. We produced a sleeker, simpler system for them to recruit and organize their volunteers. Volunteers can manage their own volunteer events, Organizations can manage volunteers who’ve signed up for events and Site Admins can manage Organizations and Volunteers. We also integrated Google Maps and associated volunteer opportunities with a custom map.

Old Lutheran
Old Lutheran required a complete update of their web site. They wanted to integrate their existing site content and their shopping cart into a content management system. They also wanted users to be able to earn points by interacting with the site. We created a custom content management system that integrates the existing content with user-submitted content. Users can upload recipes and photos, they can play games and shop. We customized Miva Merchant so it hooks seamlessly into the rest of the site.

Natural Born Survivor
This project was for an author who has written a book about his life growing up in the inner-city. When asked what they were looking for, they said “Think green, rugged, safari and graffiti. The target audience for this project is young men ages 12-25 who are somehow deviant in society and/or struggling in the harsh terrains of the inner city.” The site we produced is rugged and grungy, yet somewhat hopeful. We used jQuery to help with a photo slideshow.

St. Lukes Lutheran – Bellevue, WA
St. Lukes needed a complete overhaul of their web presence. We implemented WordPress as a Content Management System which enables them to update their own content. We also implemented an Event Calendar and Sermon Manager. The best part of this project was helping them save thousands of dollars (and many trees) by publishing their monthly newsletter to their web site instead of printing and mailing it each month.
